A palace aide, who worked with Jason at the palace, revealed to The Daily Beast that William had rewarded his former aide for his loyalty to him. “Jason has proved his loyalty to William and has been rewarded. He was caught in the middle of a very nasty situation with Meghan and he just told the truth,” the aide told the outlet.
“Jason is one of the good guys.” The future king shared in a statement that as they needed to “scale more inspiring solutions to the world’s greatest challenges” and Jason would be leading for the next five years. In response, the former royal staffer shared that he was “honoured” to be appointed.
The update come after insiders revealed that Prince Harry's trip to Ukraine had left him annoyed. Many royal experts suggested that it was a deliberate move from Harry since he knew William would be left frustrated. Now, it seems William made pointed gesture towards the Sussexes declaring that he still standing in the way to their possible royal comeback.
This also serves as a reminder to Harry and Meghan that once William takes the throne, he would not be above stripping them off of their 'beloved' Sussex title.
