What's your favorite way to hype up your friends to help them shine? PD: I think if you’re not hyping up your girlfriends, what’s the point of being friends with them? You literally get to pick your friends—that’s the best part of being an adult. You get to decide who you surround yourself with. I’ve been blessed with the best girlfriends in the world, so hyping them up just feels like second nature.
Because if we don’t do it, the men certainly aren’t going to. E!: What are some ways your friends hype you up when you need a confidence boost? PD: One prerequisite to being my friend is that you have to enjoy sending and receiving voice notes. That’s just how my best friend from high school and I communicate.
If I post something online about what I’m doing, and she sees it on Instagram before I’ve even told her, she’ll send me the most hyped-up voice note. PD: I’m always getting ready with Ciara [Miller] because we’re always in a room together. Me, Amanda [Batula] , and Ciara will share products with each other.

PD: I think of it as a great friendship test. I think that if you have a friend and you're about to tell them good news, and you think, 'Oh, maybe I shouldn't tell them,' then you probably shouldn't be friends with that person.
I feel like I've done a really good job of surrounding myself with girlfriends who, when anything good happens to me, it almost feels like it's happening to them too. That’s such a nice feeling. You literally don't have to be friends with anyone if you don't want to be.
You want friends you can share good news with. E!: When do you feel like you’re shining the most? PD: I would say probably when we're on Giggly Squad Tour . I had a lot of ups and downs.
We were so sad about our last show when the tour ended. I transformed as a woman during the tour, and I loved that. E!: How did the tour change you? PD: A lot of podcasts go on tour, but since we started on Instagram Live—where we were constantly interacting in real time—the live tour felt like a natural extension of that.
Getting to connect face-to-face with the Gigglers brought back that instant back-and-forth we’ve initially loved.
