PAGASA: Easterlies to bring isolated rains in parts of PH

State weather bureau PAGASA said the easterlies would affect the eastern portion of the country bringing isolated rainshowers. Eastern Samar will have cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the easterlies, while Batanes will have cloudy skies with light rains as a result of Northeast Monsoon. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms brought by the easterlies.

Residents are warned against possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms, PAGASA said. As of 2 a.m.
