Pac-12 Gets Roasted Over Big Gonzaga Realignment Move

The Pac-12's big Gonzaga decision is getting bashed by fans

Conference realignment is happening all over the world of college sports, and it's safe to say that Gonzaga's recent announcement of their move from the West Coast Conference to the Pac-12 sent shockwaves across the nation. The Bulldogs have long dominated the WCC in the world of basketball, and will now be joining a conference in the Pac-12 that is primarily known for being the home of football schools. Gonzaga, of course, doesn't have a football team, which is something fans were quick to point out.

It's also noteworthy that the school will still get a full revenue share from the conference, despite the fact that they don't currently feature a football program. As Beavtronic3000 noted, "This could very well mean Gonzaga is getting a football team," which would surely be something that fans could get behind. With so much unknown about the move, though, fans are simply taking in what they see on the surface level, and it's safe to say that this is getting panned pretty heavily right now.
