Get your baubles and tinsel out folks, Owain is looking for Wales' Christmas home of the year

If you're anything like me, I'd be getting the Christmas lights untangled, the tinsel trimming draped around a tree and the baubles adding bling to my home in October, but I get outvoted by the rest of the family. But now I, and the whole of Wales, have a chance to override the ridicule and trim up early for a very special reason. The popular BBC Cymru Wales series Wales' Home of the Year is back with a Christmas special and looking for festive homes to potentially feature, and head judge, TV presenter and DJ Owain Wyn Evans is feeling Christmassy already.

He says: "Drape me in tinsel and hand me my sequin embellished Father Christmas brooch, I am beyond excited for the very first Christmas Wales’ Home of the Year! From flamboyant festive furnishings to classy Christmas cribs - we’re going to have such fun on our seasonal search!" Produced by IWC Media, a Banijay UK company, the show is keen to have applications from all types of homes offering all types of decorative splendour, from flats to farmhouses, cottages to castles, and maisonettes to mansions.
