The Carolina Panthers' decision to bench former first-round pick Bryce Young was framed in an interesting way in the media. The blame is even extended to the college and NFL ranks in their processes for developing young quarterbacks.
Everyone agrees that Young has not played well, but the reason why is falling elsewhere.
