, three people entered the store in the 2500 block of Greenbank and selected products, police said. One of them exited the store by the front door with items as the other two left the rear of the store with other items. Staff approached the two leaving at the back of the store and attempted to retrieve the items, but one individual threatened staff with a weapon, police said.

Photo by Supplied / OTTAWA POLICE SERVICE Suspect 1 (who police said threatened staff with the weapon) was described as a white male, 35-45, 6-2, about 180 pounds with dark hair and a dark beard. At the time of the incident, police said he was seen wearing a black construction jacket, John Deere brand sweater, blue jeans and black shoes. Suspect 2 was described as a white female, 35-45, about 5-2 and 160 pounds with long dark hair.

At the time of the incident, police said he was seen wearing a dark grey John Deere branded hooded top, black jogging style pants and white running shoes, and he was also seen carrying a black backpack. Anyone with information about the identity of the three suspects or the incident was asked to contact the Ottawa Police Service Robbery Unit at 613-236-1222, extension 5116.
