Orlando Pirates will have a new coach next season following their shock announcement on Jose Riveiro. Orlando Pirates will part ways with Jose Riveiro at the end of the current season . Meaning, the Bucs will have a new coach in charge of them for next season.

Given his name and his proven track record, he is a huge favourite amongst Pirates fans. Meanwhile, speaking of favourites, Sredojovic is loved by Bucs fans. ‘Milutin’, who had two coaching spells with Pirates, is another fan-favourite.
Interestingly, he recently mentioned that he will always be a Buccaneer. “I was, I am, and I will forever stay with my heart, soul and mind an authentic Buccaneer,” he stated on SoccerLaduma . So, given the timing of these statements, speculation is rife over the possibility of him being appointed for a third time by Pirates.
However, this is also purely speculative following his statement. BUCS START SEARCH FOR NEW COACH INTERNALLY Finally, reports state that Pirates could look inwards to appoint their new coach. Pirates have started a thorough process to find their next head coach.
“ Pirates are expected to launch a thorough process to appoint a new head coach ahead of the 2025/26 season , insiders have revealed that continuity could play a key role in that decision,” the insider stated on the same publication. Furthermore, Paz is one of the favourites to take up the Pirates hot seat. “Among those being considered is Paz, Riveiro’s compatriot, who joined the club at the beginning of the current season,” he added.
