Oppo has launched the Find N5, claiming it as the world's thinnest foldable phone. When closed, it measures 8.93mm, making it slimmer than the previous title-holder, the Honor Magic V3.
For comparison, the iPhone 16 Pro is 8.3mm thick. When unfolded, the Find N5 is just 4.
21mm at its thinnest point. Notably, foldable phone thickness is typically measured when closed; if measured when unfolded, the newly launched Huawei Mate XT triple-foldable phone, with a thickness of 3.6mm when unfolded, would surpass the Find N5.
The Oppo Find N5 was launched globally and is expected to be available in European and Asian markets. However, Oppo has never introduced its Find N-series foldables in India, so it remains unclear if that will change this year. At its Singapore launch event, the Find N5 was priced at SGD 2,499, (approx Rs 1,62,000). The Oppo Find N5, which may launch in India, boasts a 6.
62-inch FHD+ internal display and an 8.12-inch 2K external screen, both AMOLED with a 120Hz LTPO refresh rate and 2160Hz PWM dimming. These displays are also stylus-compatible.
The device holds IPX6, X8, and X9 water protection ratings but lacks dust resistance. Additional features include a side-mounted fingerprint scanner integrated with the power button and an alert slider on the left. Powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, the Find N5 comes with 16GB LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB UFS 4.

It also has two 8MP selfie cameras on the internal and external displays. Running on Android 15 with ColorOS, the device comes in Misty White, Cosmic Black, and a China-exclusive Dusky Purple. Global pre-orders start on February 21, with sales beginning February 28.
