A major new smartphone that has been grabbing the limelight well ahead of its launch is the F29 Pro 5G. Interest in it has been building up due to some major specs its may pack as well as the price point that may appeal to a large audience. First of all, Oppo F29 Pro launch date is Thursday, Mar.
20, 2025 at 12pm Indian Standard Time, which makes it next week. The most important aspect for most people is affordability and the Oppo F29 Pro price is expected to be under Rs 30,000. At that price, what will the smartphone bring for the buyer in terms of specs and features including chip, battery, camera and more? This was revealed by tipster Abhishek Yadav's post on X.
Interestingly, the F29 Pro touts the Hunter Antenna, which provides a 300% boost to mobile network signal strength. The Oppo F29 Pro is expected to pack the MediaTek Dimensity 7300E SoC paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 onboard storage support chipset.
There will be three variants in all, giving ample choice to buyers. Oppo F29 Pro will offer 8GB RAM, and 128GB storage space. There will also be a 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant.
And finally, there may well be a third variant offering 12GB RAM with 256GB storage.In an X post, Oppo confirmed the launch of Oppo F29 Pro and its sibling Oppo F29 about which you can read here, "Mark your calendars! Those who believe in having plenty of colour choices should know they can pick only between two colors. OPPO F29 Pro 5G will come in Marble White and Granite Black colours.Oppo F29 Pro camera (on the rear), will likely be 50-MP with Optical Image Stabilization.
It may also offer a 2-MP secondary rear sensor. It will be AI-capable. Oppo F29 Pro camera for selfies will be 16-MP.
According to the company itself, which has labelled the smartphone a "durable champion", it will have a 360-degree Armour Body and a military-grade certification. Its internal frame is made of aerospace-grade aluminium alloy.Oppo F29 Pro OS will likely be Android 15 with a ColorOS 15 user interface, revealed tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore.
