Now, the company is scheduled to unveil the OnePlus 13T compact device in China that will show the new feature. Ahead of its official launch, the company has shed light on several details about the purported device.



One of the significant changes coming to the gadget is an all-new button called Quick Key, similar to the action button that Apple offers with the iPhone 15 Pro and the 16 models. In a Weibo post, the OnePlus CEO unveiled the image of the OnePlus 13T, featuring the action button. While it still serves as an alert slider with the ability to alter sound profiles, it also has new features that the firm will be revealing in the coming days.

“The Alert Slider is a hardware switch. Its function is locked to its physical position, meaning it can’t be reprogrammed or expanded without losing its simplicity," Pete Lau, OnePlus explained recently as to why the new button became inevitable. The OnePlus 13 Mini Bow Talking about its design, OnePlus China Head Louis Jie stated the brand survey showed people using phone with small screen preferred the small size.

The OnePlus 13T is expected to come with a 6.3-inch 1.5K flat 120Hz OLED screen with ultra-narrow bezels on all sides and will be powered by the flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset which gives it the same power as the flagship model.

The phone is said to pack a huge 6,000 mAh battery that supports 80W fast wired charging and 50W wireless charging. This means the 13T could have a bigger battery than the original OnePlus 13. On the optics front, the OnePlus 13T is said to come with a dual rear camera setup, including a 50MP primary lens and a 50MP 2x telephoto lens.

In addition to this, OnePlus may swap the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor from its flagship to an optical fingerprint sensor for the 13T version. OnePlus 13T India launch details are sketchy for the time being, which suggests the company could keep it exclusive to China. However, other reports say OnePlus 13T could be introduced as 13 Mini in India and other global markets.
