About Us: Founded with a vision for impact and compassion, One Touch Ministry, Inc. has provided comprehensive support for individuals transitioning from incarceration for over 28 years, a reentry housing organization serving the Greater Baton Rouge area. OTM provides critical support—housing, counseling, job training, and life skills—to recently released individuals who are eager to reintegrate, rebuild relationships, and succeed.
Our goal is to ensure participants have the foundation to achieve self-sufficiency. Our Work: Each year, thousands face the daunting journey from prison back to society. Too often, these individuals encounter barriers to stable housing, employment, and community acceptance, which can lead to recidivism.
OTM, however, intervenes with compassion and practical support. We provide returning citizens with a safe, structured environment that includes clean, furnished, sober housing, clothing, and food. Through tailored counseling sessions, job placement assistance, and a strong focus on life skills, OTM’s programs help them find lasting success.
Our services touch the lives not only of these individuals but also their families and communities. One Touch Ministry’s commitment to this work has led to an impressive 89% success rate among participants who complete the program. This success is not accidental—it’s built on years of experience, dedication from a caring staff, and strategic partnerships with community organizations.
