French YouTuber Ines Benazzouz aka Inoxtag, reached a milestone with the theatrical release of ‘Kaizen’, a documentary film about the 22-year-old which sold an estimated 350,000 tickets from 1,000 screenings in a single day, Variety reported. The two-and-a-half hour inspirational cinematic splendor is about the Parisian man, who has no connection to the world of sports or athletics but embarks on an epic journey to climb the world’s highest peak, Mount Everest, in a span of one year. If the theatrical milestone wasn’t enough, the film was reportedly also viewed more than 11 million times in its first 24 hours of premiere on YouTube, as per AFP.

Dubbed as “undoubtedly one of the biggest launches in the history" on YouTube in France, Inoxtag has found himself in a positive spiral of praise and appreciation online. But that’s not all; the YouTuber has created a massive buzz among One Piece fandom for wearing Luffy’s straw hat during his tough journey. A post shared by ANIME NEWS (@todayanimenews) Inoxtag said legendary Japanese comic creator Eiichiro Oda whose 'One Piece' series is one of the biggest-selling mangas ever, was his greatest inspiration for executing the snow mission.

In an interview with AFP, the YouTuber expressed, “If he (Oda) comes across my documentary, I'd just like to say thank you for making me believe that dreams can come true.” A post shared by Inoxtag (@inoxtag) It didn’t take long for One Piece fans to appreciate Inoxtag’s iconic achievement. A user called it, “True Pirate King moment.

” Another said “Bro literally went on a journey to find One Piece.” One more added, “The One Piece is Real.” Meanwhile, several parallels were drawn of his real-life moment with the iconic manga’s Drum Island saga, many branding it as art imitating life.

To help you understand, when Nami catches a deadly fever, the Straw Hat Pirates are forced to take a detour to a king-less island of Drum, where Dr. Kureha, famously known as the witch by townspeople, is the only doctor. She lives in a Drum Castle, situated atop the highest chain of drum shaped mountains.

Luffy and Sanji head to her castle but they’re attacked by dozens of ferocious rabbit beasts, causing an avalanche, which also leaves Sanji injured. Ultimately, Luffy climbs up the mountain carrying both Nami and Sanji, collapsing at Dr. Kureha’s doorstep with severe frostbites on his arms and feet.

It was also during this saga that Luffy meets Tony Tony Chopper and recruits him as a doctor for his pirate crew. Fans did not fail to make comparisons between Inoxtag’s milestone and this storyline of One Piece. A user wrote, “Go find you a chopper my boy,” another said, “He has the will of D.

” One more noted, “Bro just re-created the drum kingdom arc.” Meanwhile, a fan also hailed him as “The King of Mount Everest.” Eiichiro Oda’s popular manga has been adapted into an anime and also a live-action series.
