One killed, several feared trapped in Maharashtra ordnance factory explosion

Image for representation NEW DELHI: A person was killed while 10 people are feared trapped in a blast at an Ordnance factory in Maharashtra's Bhandara district on Friday. According to PRO defence Nagpur, the rescue and medical teams are deployed for survivors and rescue is underway. District collector Sanjay Kolte said the explosion occurred around 10:30am in Jawahar Nagar area of the city.

A roof has collapsed which is being removed with the help of JCB," Kolte said. "A total of 12 people are reported to be there, out of which 2 people have been rescued," he added.
