One in custody after crash leaves car hanging out of Downtown parking garage, MPD says

MEMPHIS, Tenn. - The Memphis Police Department said they have one person in custody after a crash that left a car hanging out of a Downtown parking garage. MPD said that officers were sent to a parking garage at Second Street and Union Avenue just before 9:30 Thursday evening for a crash.

Once there, officers found a car had driven through the sidewall barrier several stories up, and had its front wheels hanging over the street. Police said there was only the one car involved, and there were no injuries, but they did have one person detained. CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD Trending stories:.
