Ottawa police said o fficers were called to the 100 block of Clarence Street in response to a possible stabbing shortly before 3 a.m.
A 27-year-old victim was located with non-life-threatening injuries and a 29-year-old man was arrested on scene. Activate your Online Access Now Article content The 29-year-old is facing charges of assault cause bodily harm, assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for committing an offence, and breaching probation. He was expected to appear in court Sunday. Police say the 29-year-old had an “accidental self-inflicted injury” and also received medical attention.
A spokesperson for the Ottawa Paramedics Service said both suffered stab wound injuries, and both were transported to hospital in serious condition.
