Another group says election reflection of people’s will The Ilaje Development Summit Group (IDSG) has lauded the people of Ondo State for their unwavering support and participation in the recently concluded gubernatorial election. In a statement, yesterday, the President of IDSG, Rev. Adesola Adebawo, who gave the commendation, said: We are deeply honoured to join all citizens in celebrating the historic victory of our son, Lucky Aiyedatiwa.

His election is a resounding affirmation of the values of justice, equity, and unity that the people of Ondo State hold dear. “This momentous achievement was made possible by the collective effort and resilience of the people across all 18 local councils who came out in significant numbers to cast their votes for progress, inclusivity, and positive change. Your faith in a brighter future has been the cornerstone of this victory, and we are sincerely grateful for the confidence you have placed in Governor Aiyedatiwa to lead our beloved state into a new era of growth and sustainable development.



” Also, the lawmaker representing Akoko South East/Akoko South West Federal Constituency, Adegboyega Adefarati, described the victory of Aiyedatiwa as a testament to his leadership strides to steer the state towards the path of development. According to the lawmaker, all stakeholders, irrespective of political affiliations, should rally around the governor to ensure seamless governance in the state. He assured Aiyedatiwa of continued partnership in fostering growth and addressing the needs of the people across all sectors.

On his part, a former commissioner in the state, Niran Sule-Akinsuyi, expressed optimism that Aiyedatiwa’s victory as substantive governor would positively impact the state, going by the strides he made within the last 10 months of his emergence as governor.
