The Chairman of Agboola Ajayi Campaign Committee in Alade-Atosin in the Idanre Local Government Area of Ondo State, Otunba Blessing Niyi Akinleminu has promised to deliver his constituency to the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in the November 16 governorship election in the state. Akinleminu said he would work with other directors of the campaign organization to defeat the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), not only in the Alade-Atosin political ward but in the entire Local Government Area of the state. Speaking after his inauguration and other directors including Hon Akinzodus Tomiwa and Otunba Olu Akinyeke, the Chairman said the choice of Ajayi and Hon Festus Akingbaso as candidate and running mate was a good combination to deliver Ondo State from hardship.
Akinleminu said the people of Idanre would vote massively for the PDP because of the choice of their son, Akingbaso as the Deputy Governorship candidate of the party. According to him, the November 16 governorship election has presented an opportunity for the kingdom to produce a deputy governor since the state was created in 1976. Also, he said the hardship the APC-led government has inflicted on the citizens of the country would present the people the opportunity to change the administration that has made the country the capital of poverty in the world.
Akinleminu asked Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa to explain to the citizens of Idanre what he has done since he came into office in December last year. He added that the people would not be deceived by handouts they give during elections as they would vote their choices into office..
