On this day in 2024, the Telegraph and Argus reported that motorcyclists across Yorkshire had ridden out to distribute Easter eggs to hospitals.

On this day in 2024, the Telegraph and Argus reported that motorcyclists across Yorkshire united to bring joy to children over the Easter holidays. The Yorkshire Motorbike Ride Out Group delivered hundreds of eggs to hospitals, including Bradford Royal Infirmary and Haworth RDA. Jackie Butterworth, of Haworth RDA, said: "It’s absolutely amazing.

"It’s a bit overwhelming really." The route also included Airedale Hospital and Calderdale Royal Hospital. Tim Fawthrop, who helped organise the ride out, said: "People are kinder than you realise.



"They would like to help, even if it’s just a small Easter egg." The eggs were donated by the Leeds Motorcycle MOT Centre, Hunslet Morrisons, Tesco, Burmantoffs Community Friends, and Shakespeare Medical Practice..
