Olivia Dunne and the LSU women's gymnastics team made history last year, winning the program's first-ever national championship by defeating California, Utah and Florida. The Tigers added more hardware to the school's impressive trophy case, and the team recently received some hardware of their own. Dunne posted a photo to her Instagram story with two rings - one being the brand new jewelry the team earned for winning the national title.

The star gymnast captioned the photo "RING SZN," as she shared photos from the celebrations with her teammates. Olivia Dunne/Instagram. Dunne and the LSU gymnastics team are the latest squad from the school to win a title.

Her boyfriend, former LSU pitcher and current Pittsburgh Pirates star Paul Skenes, won a national title of his own in 2023 before being drafted with the No. 1 overall pick. LSU's women's basketball team won its first national title in 2023 as well, led by stars like Angel Reese and Flau'jae Johnson.

Those victories followed LSU football's title in 2020, with future NFL stars like Joe Burrow, Ja'Marr Chase and Justin Jefferson leading the way. C. Morgan Engel/Getty Images Dunne is continuing her gymnastics career, but she's also been focused on being a leader in the NIL space, particular among female college athletes.

Dunne has been the most successful female NIL athlete, and she's looking to pay her success forward with the "Livvy Fund" at LSU, which will focus on NIL opportunities for female athletes at the university. "Girls don't know where to start," Dunne said. "Because that's sometimes half the battle.

And it's very important to capitalize on your NIL while you're in college if you're a female because there's not a lot of professional leagues after college for most women's sports." As Dunne proves herself as a force in the NIL space, she'll continue to be a prominent star on social media as the Tigers try to defend their national title next year.
