Oilers welcome Lakers to Oil Field for home opener

Oil City opens its home schedule at 7 p.m. tonight at the Oil Field as the Oilers’ football team looks to rebound from its Week 1 loss to Harbor Creek when it welcomes Mercyhurst Prep for a non-region contest.

Tonight’s matchup actually features a pair of teams that came out of the gates slowly in their respective openers.
