Will Howard will have added motivation as he leads Ohio State into a top-five showdown against Penn State next week. Howard attended high school at Downingtown West in Pennsylvania and hoped to one day wear Penn State colors. However, the Nittany Lions never offered Howard a scholarship, and he committed to Kansas State.
He appeared in 34 games with the Wildcats before transferring to Ohio State before this season. Howard has helped lead the Buckeyes to a 6-1 record, passing for 1,795 yards, 17 touchdowns and just four interceptions. Howard shared a message for Penn State after Ohio State knocked off Nebraska 21-17 on Saturday.
"I cannot wait. It’s gonna be a homecoming for me. I grew up a Penn State fan," Howard said .

Ohio State entered as a 25.5-point favorite but needed a late defensive stop to preserve the victory. The Buckeyes' only loss this season came to top-ranked Oregon.
