RTE star Doireann Garrihy has been sent into a frenzy after she discovered she would be meeting her Hollywood idol. The Dancing With The Stars host jetted over to London last night to attend the official Wicked movie premiere. As Doireann arrived to her hotel she took to Instagram to share her excitement about the trip.
The 32-year-old held up a green gift bag with Wicked written across the front and stood in silence taking it in. The TV star then revealed: "I'm here with Universal Pictures for the London premiere of Wicked." The popular presenter explained to fans how she had been to see the famous West End show back in 2012 with her two sisters.
Doireann remarked: "It totally blew my mind." The former 2FM host continued to emphasise her elation upon meeting Wicked actress and pop star sensation, Ariana Grande . She said: "I'm an Ariana stan, as we know, I mean she's not Beyonce level, but it would be Beyonce , Ariana and Lady Gaga all on the same level.
" The Dublin star dramatically covered her face with her hands and exclaimed: "To see her in the movie, sorry to see her in the flesh tomorrow? Oh my God I can't cope." Doireann proceeded to unpack the rest of the goodie bag with sheer excitement. The Irish host then joked: "Anyways tomorrow is going to be action packed and I've got the cutest little dress to wear that I can't wait to show you.
"In the meantime I need to get my beauty sleep so I can take on the day." And Doireann is set to tie the knot this month to her fiance Mark Mehigan. The bride-to-be recently admitted "it's hard to focus" as she tried to "remain zen" ahead of her big day.
Taking to her Instagram, Doireann gave fans a brief life update ahead of taking on her busy schedule for the morning. Sitting in her car before recording a new episode of her podcast, Doireann said: "Good morning. I have just arrived into town to record The Laughs Of Your Life.
"I am going to curl my hair when I get in there, I washed it this morning with like a detox shampoo, It was so nice because it was just very greasy and minging. "I just had no reason to wash it over the weekend, because weekends are quiet at the moment. Just trying to just stay zen and get ready for the next couple of weeks.
"I am filming like a spend the day-type-thing. It's so hard to actually just focus on your day while you are documenting it." For the video, Doireann donned a beautiful polka-dot button-up shirt and tucked into a pair of jeans.
She then waved goodbye and set off on her busy day of filming..
