Odeal Unveils New EP ‘Lustropolis’

Southeast London artist Odeal has released his new project ‘Lustropolis’, out via new label home LVRN. Following his ‘ S unday At Zuri’s ’ EP, Odeal embraces the adult contemporary strain of RnB and soul, moving between exposed, lovelorn overtures and the lothario that looms in the background across the seven tracks on ‘Lustropolis’. The project was co-created with producers Charlie Pitts, Harry Westlake, Dan Hylton and Ezra Skys , and sees Odeal link with Summer Walker on ‘You’re Stuck’ – the EP’s sole feature.

Of the project’s genesis and meaning, Odeal explains: “’Lustropolis’ is the culmination of all the music I’ve created over 2024. The story starts with ‘Gaslight 101’ and continues with ‘Sunday at Zuri’s’, but ‘Lustropolis’ is where the journey ultimately ends. ‘Lustropolis’ is a world where I’m comfortable and defeated at the same time, going back to my old habits but also longing for the love that slipped out of my hands.



” Odeal is a high-volume creator. Last year he released his mixtape ‘ Thoughts I Never Sai d ’ , followed by the three-track EP ‘ Gasli ght 101 ’ at the top of the year. The releases, alongside ‘Lustropolis’, solidify Odeal as the reliable frontman of modern romance.

In our interview with the roving musician earlier this year, Odeal spoke of building a communal space through his incubator, OVMBR (Our Variances Make Us Bold & Relentless) . Odeal’s international tour will culminate with back-to-back shows in London on November 19th and Manchester on the 20th. The video for ‘You’re Stuck’ premieres later today.
