Get ready for a summer of outdoor movie magic as OC Parks’ Sunset Cinema series returns with 12 free movie screenings at various Orange County parks. Every Friday night from June 6 through Aug. 29, guests can enjoy a mix of recent blockbusters and beloved classics under the stars.
“The OC Parks Summer Concert Series and Sunset Cinema film series offer a fantastic opportunity to experience free live music and films in the beautiful settings of Orange County’s regional parks, bringing people together to create long-lasting special memories,” said Chair Doug Chaffee of the Orange County Board of Supervisors in a press release.Each event kicks off at 6 p.m.
with lively pre-show entertainment, including character meet-and-greets, DJ-led games, and more. Screenings begin at sundown (approximately 8 p.m.
), and admission and parking are free. Guests are welcome to bring picnic items, blankets, and low-back chairs, while food trucks will be on-site with tasty bites and beverages available for purchase. A beer and wine garden will also be open for those 21 and older.
