Oben Electric unveils Rorr EZ e-bike at Rs 90,000 with 175 km range and 45-minute fast charge

In terms of performance, the Rorr EZ boasts a top speed of 95 km/h and can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in just 3.3 seconds. Powering the Rorr EZ is the company’s high-performance Lithium Iron Phosphate (LFP) battery technology.

Bengaluru-based electric vehicle manufacturer Oben Electric, on Thursday, introduced its latest electric motorcycle, the Rorr EZ, at an introductory price of ₹89,999. The Rorr EZ is aimed at the urban commuter market and is available in three different battery configurations: 2.6 kWh, 3.

4 kWh, and 4.4 kWh. The Rorr EZ is available in four colour options: Electro Amber, Surge Cyan, Lumina Green, and Photon White.



Customers can reserve their Rorr EZ with a ₹2,999 booking fee. They can also visit Oben Electric stores for test rides and quick deliveries. The Rorr EZ features a proprietary ARX framework developed by Oben Electric, which ensures improved stability and ease of manoeuvrability in traffic.

Additionally, the motorcycle incorporates a neo-classic design, blending modern aesthetics with practicality. Oben Electric claims that this battery technology offers enhanced temperature resistance—50% higher than typical batteries—and provides twice the lifespan of conventional battery types.

In terms of performance, the Rorr EZ boasts a top speed of 95 km/h and can accelerate from 0 to 40 km/h in just 3.3 seconds. The motorcycle offers a range of up to 175 km (IDC) on a full charge.

Riders can also take advantage of fast-charging capabilities, which allow the battery to reach 80% charge in just 45 minutes. The new e-bike also includes three driving modes: Eco, City, and Havoc. These modes allow riders to adjust the performance according to their preferences, whether they are aiming to maximise battery efficiency or seeking peak performance.

The motorcycle comes equipped with several safety features such as UBA (Under Battery Alert), Geo-Fencing, Theft Protection, and DAS (Driving Assistance System). The Rorr EZ also comes with after-sales support, which provides warranty packages of up to 5 years or 75,000 km. Oben Electric, as part of its growth strategy, plans to expand its retail presence by opening 60 new showrooms across key cities in India over the coming months. The company currently has a presence in Bengaluru, Pune, Delhi, Jaipur, and Kerala.
