Oasis have added two more dates to their UK tour, stating “phenomenal demand” led to extra shows being planned for London’s Wembley Stadium . The Gallaghers have reunited after 15 years and will play their hits together once more next year while there is also talk of their first studio album since 2008’s Dig Out Your Soul. Hype around the Britpop comeback has also led to discussions around further shows in the US .

For British fans, however, the news of the two extra dates has been met with glee for those who missed out in an ultra-competitive ticket-buying process. The sale was a controversial one, with Ticketmaster’s dynamic pricing model being criticised for how it led to thousands paying more than they anticipated for tickets. Oasis themselves have acknowledged the issue but ever outspoken frontman Liam Gallagher has told fans to “shut up” with their complaints .

But when are the new dates, and when do they go on sale? Here’s what we know. At the time of publication, Oasis's world tour dates have only been revealed for the UK and Ireland. They have added two London dates to the five originally announced: they will now play seven dates at London's Wembley Stadium .

Oasis is kicking off their tour with two nights at Cardiff's Principality Stadium , five dates at Manchester 's Heaton Park, and three nights at Edinburgh's Murrayfield Stadium .The final concerts will take place at Dublin 's Croke Park in Ireland. The date that the additional tickets will go on sale has not been formally confirmed by the band.

Millions of fans attempted to get tickets for Oasis's summer tour in the UK and Ireland, leaving many incensed at the lengthy virtual lines and dynamic pricing that were put in place as demand spiked. Oasis responded with a statement vowing to simplify the procedure. A new " invitation-only ballot ticket sale strategy " for the two new Wembley events has been put in place, according to a press release released on Wednesday, September 4.

This is "as a small step towards making amends for the situation", the statement read. A new quiz question and an email requesting them to enter the ballot should have been sent to those who were unable to obtain tickets previously. Fans were informed prior to the first general sale that normal standing tickets would be roughly £150 and standard seated tickets (with the exception of Manchester, where all seats are standing) would be priced between £73 and approximately £205.

Depending on the ticket level and location, there were also premium packages available for standing and seating that range from £216 to £506.25. These packages include merchandise, access to a pre-show party, and a private Oasis exhibition.

While these were face-value prices, many found themselves paying up to £350 at Ticketmaster’s checkout due to dynamic pricing. Dynamic pricing, according to Ticketmaster, is when the cost of tickets "may increase or decrease at any time, based on demand". However, the business has stated that it is the "event organiser" that "has priced these tickets according to their market value" and that it does not determine prices.

It's not a recent development, and consumer protection rules permit it . Oasis has not officially confirmed new music, however, Liam has told a fan on social media that a new album is “in the bag”. Liam is widely renowned for interacting with his fans in an honest manner on X.

One fan asked: “Mate it might be jumping the gun abit but A feel an albums in the air? Imagine” [sic]. To which Liam replied: “It’s in the bag mate f**k the air”. Although Liam and Noel have released 10 albums individually in other projects since the band's 2009 breakup, Oasis's last album was Dig Out Your Soul, which came out in 2008.
