Unless you’re making your way through Queens, traveling through New York City this weekend shouldn’t be all too different from the others. Unlike other weekends, which are sometimes jam-packed with events across the five boroughs, this weekend will only see a closure for a singular parade. The Bandladesh Day Parade is scheduled to take place on Sunday, April 13, in Queens.
According to an advisory from the NYPD, the closure will be at the discretion of the police. The formation for the parade is set to take place on 37th Avenue between 69th Street and 70th Avenue. The route of the parade and the dispersal will be along 37th Avenue between 71st Street and 85th Street.
