NVIDIA Reflex Support Expands to New Games and Esports Tournaments

NVIDIA Reflex is coming to several new games this month, including Marvel Rivals and FragPunk, while continuing its support for major esports tournaments like Dota 2 International and Fortnite Championship Series. Reflex tech is designed to reduce system latency of GeForce graphics cards, desktops, and laptops, making gameplay more responsive and giving players a competitive edge. Over 120 games already feature this tech.

Launching on December 6, Marvel Rivals will be one of the newest titles to incorporate Reflex. In this game, players build teams of Marvel characters, and features dynamic and destructible battlefields set in the ever-evolving Marvel universe. By using Reflex, the game's responsiveness will improve, allowing for quicker reactions during high-stakes combat scenarios.



The upcoming closed beta for FragPunk, starting in October, wll also include NVIDIA Reflex. This 5v5 hero shooter allows players to alter gameplay usig powerup cards, introducting various rule changes that create unique combinations in each round. Reflex will enhance the responsiveness of these online matches, helping players perform at their best when split-second decisions are necessary.

The DOTA 2 International, one of the largest annual esports events, now benefit from Reflex's latency reduction tech. With system latency reduced by up to 23%, competitors can execute precise actions without delays. This year's DOTA 2 international runs until September 15, and fans can expect to see even tigher and more exciting gameplay, with fewer interruptions caused by lag or stuttering.

In another major event, the Fortnite CHampionship Series (FNCS) 2024 Global Championship will feature the world's top 50 duos competing for a $2m prize pool. NVIDIA Reflex is available to Fortnite players, reducing latency by up to 46%. In addition to expanding Reflex support to games, NVIDIA has also partnered with Cloud9, a leading esports organization, tp upgrade its systems.

Cloud9's training facilities are now equipped with GeForce RTX 40 series GPUs, ensuring players practise on the same hardware used in professional tournaments. NVIDIA plans to continue expanding its Reflex technology to more games and devices.
