The Community Edition Project is a groundbreaking initiative, where talented individuals from around the globe contribute to the design and development of the Phone (2a) Plus. From hardware and software to packaging and marketing, community members played huge roles in shaping the final product.
The winning concepts were selected from over 900 entries and brought to life through a collaborative process between the community members and Nothing’s design and engineering teams. The resulting Phone (2a) Plus Community Edition boasts a unique glow-in-the-dark design, inspired by the “Phosphorescence” concept. The device’s distinctive features include: As for the phone itself, the Phone (2a) Plus has a MediaTek Dimensity 7350 Pro chipset with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
It features Nothing’s signature transparent design with an IP54-rated build and a redesigned Glyph Interface. The device has a 6.7-inch Flexible AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 1300 nits, a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, and an in-display fingerprint scanner, protected by Gorilla Glass 5.
It also boasts a 50MP main and a 50MP ultra-wide camera at the back, and a 50MP selfie shooter under a hole-punch cutout in front. It runs on Nothing OS 2.6 based on Android 14 and features a 5000mAh with faster 50W fast charging.
