The entrepreneur, 44, took to her Instagram Stories on Tuesday to reveal how she and her colleagues were celebrating the festive season. The Go-To founder revealed she had treated her staff to an extravagant lunch at popular Bondi restaurant Sean's.
She proved she had spared no expense on the occasion, which was complete with personalised horoscope place mats, tarot readings and a four-course meal. Zoe shared a whole host of pictures and videos from the special day as she went above and beyond with her business' Christmas shindigs. The author, who is married to comedian Hamish Blake , booked out the entire venue for their staff party as they all gathered for the lavish lunch.

Guests were then treated to shared entrees including Wollemi duck ham, prawn cocktail and a tomato salad with Kalamata olives. They then had three options for their main course - cavatelli, fish fillet or roast chicken - and a choice of chocolate and cherry trifle or tropical pavlova for dessert.
Employees were also given a range of alcoholic drinks including wine and champagne as they socialised at the high-class affair. Zoe also added a personalised touch as people's place settings were marked out with unique place mats each featuring a horoscope tailored to that person. There were also tarot readers from Newtown's Nature's Energy Day Spa & Bathhouse on hand to give personalised readings to all of the staff.
At the no-expenses-spared festive bash, all the employees also got involved in a Secret Santa and exchanged gifts over their lavish lunch. Zoe was gifted a thoughtful drawing of her two beloved cats Potato and Jimothy as she gushed that the present was 'so good' on her Instagram Stories. She first sold her 51.5 per cent stake of her beauty brand to the ASX listed beauty conglomerate for $89million in 2021. But just two years later, Zoë and Go-To co-founder Paul Bates bought back their controlling stake in the business for a fraction of the price at $21.
8million after BWX collapsed into administration in April 2023 . Reflecting on the turbulent time earlier this year, Zoe admitted she felt 'deeply out of her depth' with the deal because there is no 'handbook' for finding the right investor. 'How did you know when it was the right time? How did you know they were the right partner? Because there's no handbook,' she told the Financial Review .
She said she felt 'maternal' towards Go-To and did everything she could to save the business after the BWX deal unraveled. 'There's nothing like seeing your baby in trouble to get you going, I was like, "I'm here, I'll protect my baby at any cost", I felt very maternal, nothing has fortified me like this has,' she said. 'Thinking that I might be out of the company next year [as per the original BWX deal] is now unfathomable, I'm swinging way back in.

Despite the difficult time, Zoe celebrated Go-To's tenth anniversary this year and the business has been thriving since she bought back her stake. As well as founding her skincare business, Zoe is also an experienced author and has published more than 20 books.
