Ibrahim Ali Khan has been often complemented to resemble his father Saif Ali Khan. However, the actor recently revealed his Hollywood inspiration when it comes to looks. Ibrahim Ali Khan may be new to the acting world, but his inspiration is definitely a superstar worldwide.

The son of Bollywood stars Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh has quickly become the new heartthrob in the entertainment industry. After making his acting debut alongside Khushi Kapoor in Nadaaniyan, he has captured the attention of fans with his charming style. He often melts many hearts with his kind gestures captured on various paparazzi videos on social media.

While many say that he resembles his father in looks, Ibrahim recently shared a surprising revelation on his Instagram Stories about the Hollywood star he draws inspiration from. The young actor shared an old photo of Johnny Depp holding a glass, followed by a picture of himself trying to replicate the actor’s iconic look. Depp’s photo, taken back in 2011 for Vanity Fair magazine, has clearly impressed Ibrahim.

For a recent brand shoot, Ibrahim not just recreated a similar pose, but also tried matching the Hollywood stars’ expression and body language. He wrote, “I just wanna look like Johnny but I can’t, but I can try." The photoshoot post caught the attention of his friends and family.

The post was liked by his sister, actress Sara Ali Khan, as well as their aunt Saba Pataudi. Interestingly, his rumoured girlfriend, actress Palak Tiwari also reacted to the post. Ibrahim, who made a Bollywood debut recently with an OTT release, received mixed feedback from the audience.

While many praised his natural acting and screen presence, the film’s plot didn’t connect well with the viewers. A few weeks after its release on Netflix, the young actor opened up about the film’s performance in an interview with Filmfare. He said, “People go into the film with very high expectations of what it should be.

It was not to be some grand film. It was meant to be a sweet, breezy rom-com that you should enjoy on a Friday night, chilling in bed. Social media is a hateful world, right now.

They tried to twist it a lot. Sure, as a lead actor, I have to bring in loads more than what I did. I know I can bring it and I am confident that I will bring it in my future projects.

But I’m happy with what it was. I worked with hardworking people and we made a sweet film. I get the criticism but I enjoyed working on it.

It was meant to be sweet and breezy. I would say it’s good." After Nadaaniyan, Ibrahim is set to share screen with Prithviraj Sukumaran and Kajol in Sarzameen.
