Norwich will be as warm as Malta this week as temperatures are set to soar. After what was considered a warmer March than what is typically expected in Norwich, it appears that April will be following suit, according to the Met Office. The weather service claims that temperatures will reach as high as 18C in Norwich with sunny spells throughout the day before becoming more breezy in the evening.

The city will be as warm as Malta, with the island located on the Mediterranean Sea set to experience temperatures of 18C by Friday, two degrees lower than its average for April. There will be sunny spells throughout this week with a cool breeze sweeping in during the evening. The Met Office claims that Wednesday and Thursday will be mostly breezy with sunny spells throughout, but city folk can expect temperatures to soar on Friday.



Spring kicked off in earnest on March 20, with daylight saving time beginning last Saturday. Temperatures in Norwich for this time of year are usually around 11C, which is seven degrees lower than what is expected towards the end of this week..
