As AI disrupts the educational landscape, this partnership aims to shape the national conversation about the evolving role of critical thinking in writing practice.Underlining the immediate need for schools and educators to teach students how to use AI responsibly, a recent study by Microsoft and Carnegie Mellon University found that using AI for writing can inhibit critical thinking and create an overreliance on technology.
