Noon Update – Day 7 | 48th National Games Fishing Titles

The sun was out earlier at 31 degrees, with easterly winds blowing as 12 boats set sail at dawn this beautiful Good Friday, Easter weekend. Most anglers have had more luck with barracudas than marlins so far. The first four barracudas were hooked as early as 6:24 am and 7:54 am.

Between 8:02 am and 12:32 pm, there were three blue marlins and five barracudas hooked. That’s a total of twelve hookups so far today. The wind has picked up and turned wild, the sun has disappeared, and the day has grown dull — let’s see how things unfold from here.
