New Delhi: A man named Nurullah brutally murdered his wife, Asma Khan, in Sector 15, attacking her with a hammer and stabbing her multiple times over suspicions of an extramarital affair on April 4. According to the cops, the accused was unemployed for some time and was staying at home, engaging in stock trading. Asma Khan, a civil engineer, had graduated from Jamia Millia Islamia and was working as a project engineer at a company in Sector 62.

In a shocking turn of events, the husband murdered his wife in the presence of their children at home. The victim's son called the police helpline (Dial 112) to report the incident.
The police have arrested the accused, Nurullah, in connection with the murder. The body of the deceased was sent for postmortem and later handed over to her family. The accused, identified as Nirmal Malik (40), a native of Odisha's Balasore, took advantage of his employer's absence during a Christmas vacation in Goa last year, he said.
