KOCHI: Kochi Police stated that they haven't received a copy of the court order directing them to initiate an investigation against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. With this, the police have decided to move cautiously in the investigation and not to take action in haste. The Ernakulam Chief Judicial Magistrate Court ordered an investigation against Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan the other day.

The action was taken on the basis of a complaint filed by Ernakulam DCC President Mohammed Shiyas. According to the complaint, the Chief Minister's 'Life-saving act' statement was an instigation to commit crimes. The Chief Minister made the controversial remarks during the Nava Kerala Sadas in November last year.

The Chief Minister had later repeated this in the assembly as well. "We were watching what's going on, weren't we? Someone was jumping in. Some men were pushing him away.

Isn't that to save his life? How is that an act of violence? A train is coming. A man fell there. Won't you throw him away to save his life? Do we think about the danger when he is thrown? Isn't the important thing to save his life? The DYFI people adopted that life-saving act.

Those exemplary acts should continue," the Chief Minister said. The Chief Minister had later repeated that taking away those who jumped in front of the vehicle was a life-saving act. Youth Congress activists had shown black flags at the Chief Minister at Pazhayangadi when he was on his way to Taliparamba after the Nava Kerala Sadas in Kalliasseri.

There was an attack by DYFI activists against this. The Chief Minister was speaking about this..
