EDMONTON — Police say charges aren't to be laid after a baby was found dead in an Edmonton parking lot late last year. Officers were called to a south Edmonton shopping centre parking lot in December and found a deceased infant when they arrived. An autopsy has determined that the baby boy died before he was born.
Police say investigators and the medical examiner have deemed the infant's death to be not criminal in nature. Police did not say how the infant died. They say the investigation is now considered complete.
