N.J. house destroyed in 2-alarm fire

A house in Middlesex County was destroyed in a fire on Monday night. The blaze engulfed a two-story home on Wilbur Street in South River, officials said. Photos taken on the scene on Monday night showed the structure mostly extinguished, but completely burned.

The blaze caused a partial collapse of the home’s second floor, photos showed. No additional details, including whether any occupants of the house were home when the fire broke out, were immediately available. Police, EMS and representatives from PSEG were also at the scene.
