Indian sports heroes, including Olympians and Paralympians , were honored by Nita Ambani at a special event held at her residence. Nita Ambani, the founder of Reliance Foundation and a member of the International Olympic Committee (IOC), invited around 140 athletes to celebrate their achievements. The event, named ' United in Triumph ,' marked the first time these athletes gathered together on one platform.
Prominent athletes such as Neeraj Chopra, PR Sreejesh, Sarabjot Singh, HS Prannoy, Pullela Gopichand, and many others attended the celebration. Nita Ambani expressed her pride in the athletes, stating, “It is a very special evening today. All Olympians and Paralympians are on the same platform.
We are all proud of them and we are going to honor them and show them the love and respect we have for them.” In her address, Ambani also stated, “On behalf of Reliance Foundation, you would like and you’d wish that United in Triumph can become a movement for unity and inclusiveness in sport and in life. We are going to show that all of them are coming together and coming united together.
” The event saw athletes across various sports being recognized for their hard work and contributions.
