Switch 2 is making a number of improvements across the board compared to its predecessor, and Nintendo has said that one way this is happening is with Bluetooth connectivity.During a roundtable interview, hardware design lead Tetsuya Sasaki confirmed that there will be improvements. It seems this is possible thanks to a larger antenna as well as an increase in the number of antennas.
Ultimately consumers can expect better Bluetooth connectivity for the Joy-Con 2 controllers and other devices.Sasaki’s full words on the subject:“If I were to go into it I feel like it’s going to take forever, so I will start with: yes, it has improved. And if I were to add a little bit more: wireless features really depend on.
.. the size has a big impact, so the bigger the antenna, the better the connection.
And as we’ve been able to do that, I think you’ll find the connection is improved. The number of antennas has increased, a lot of other adjustments have been made to improve it.”Sasaki was also asked if Joy-Con drift has been ironed out, but he was more coy on that subject.
He only stated that “the new Joy-Con 2 controllers for the Nintendo Switch 2 have really been designed from the ground up, from scratch, to have bigger movement and smoother movement.”Share this: RelatedSEO Powered Content & PR Distribution. Get Amplified Today.
