Despite Nintendo announcing that Switch 2 pre-orders would go live on April 8 in the UK , multiple retailers have started selling the console early. Very, GAME and Argos have already sold out of Switch 2 pre-order stock , while Amazon has set up an invitation system for potential customers. Currys is the latest retailer to go live with Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders, offering customers the chance to pay now in order to secure a device for the June 5 launch.
Unfortunately, however, there's a catch, because customers will have to visit the store in person to pre-order the Switch 2. It's also worth calling your closest store to check if pre-order stock is sold out before making the journey. If you don't have any luck at Currys, then you can always request and invite from Amazon. Simply visit the Switch 2 page on the Amazon website , request and invite, and wait for an email confirming whether or not you can pre-order from the retailer.
While Argos is sold out at the time of writing, there's a good chance more stock will be available in the coming days and weeks, so you may want to keep checking the Argos website. As a reminder, the Switch 2 comes in two different editions. There's the standard version with no games for £395.
