ATIK in Wrexham closed down at the start of the year A nightclub in North Wales has hit the market after shutting its doors earlier this year. The once-buzzing Atik venue in Wrexham was surrendered back to the landlords, leaving the staff jobless amid claims that the cost-of-living crisis affecting younger people and rising business expenses were to blame. The club's closure was seen as marking the "end of an era".

Now listed by Christie and Co., the nightclub boasts a price tag of £450,000. Christie and Co.



said it holds "a prominent location upon Brook Street between the intersections of both Vicarage Hill and Town Hill adjacent to the main licensed and late night circuit." They further stated: "All fixtures and fittings are to be included within the sale however, any items that are owned by a third party or personal to our clients will be exempt.", reports North Wales Live .

They add: "The property is offered with immediate vacant possession and is suitable for existing late night hospitality or alternate use, subject to planning. It is on a long leasehold. 999 years from October 2006, subject to a peppercorn rent.
