Nick Saban Doesn't Hesitate When Naming College Football's Most Underrated Player

High praise from the all-time great coach.

All-time great college football coach Nick Saban is an elite evaluator of talent. So when the seven-time National Champion gives you his vote of confidence, that means something. During Saturday's edition of ESPN's "College GameDay," the coach-turned-analyst praised SMU Mustangs quarterback Kevin Jennings for his impressive play so far this season.

In fact, Saban went as far as to dub Jennings the "most underrated" player in college football. "SMU's quarterback, Kevin Jennings, may be the most underrated player in the country," Saban said. "This guy leads the ACC in passing efficiency.

The red-shirt sophomore quarterback has 1,594 yards, 10 touchdowns and five interceptions with a 64.3 completion percentage. He also leads Division I football with an impressive 14.
