Nicholas S. May OBITUARY Nicholas S. May “Nick” of Wethersfield, CT passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at the age of 98.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 78 years, Theresa A. (DiBella) May. Born in Hartford, CT on January 11, 1927, he was the son of the late Rose (Emonds) and Stanton May.
Nick was a very kind man who gave generously of his time. He was a self-taught jack of all trades who shared his knowledge to help family and friends. He was very proud of his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and all their accomplishments.
Nick was predeceased by his son, Nicholas S. May Jr., as well as his son-in-law, Paul DeJohn; his brother Stanton Albert May and his wife Audree; his sister Joan Francis and her husband Raymond.
Nick is survived by his children Patricia Havens and Ann Marie DeJohn of Wethersfield, CT, Cecile May of Rocky Hill, CT, James May (Ari Marcus) of NYC and Raymond May (Cathy) of Atlantic Highlights, NJ; his brother Robert May and his wife Barbara of Wethersfield, CT, grandchildren Kristen Havens, Paul DeJohn Jr., Michael DeJohn, Gregory Havens, Nicholas May III, Thomas May and Hanalee May; his great-grandchildren Nicholas May, Juliet May, Charlotte DeJohn, Thomas May, Cooper DeJohn, Violet May, and Sydney and Madison Daggett. The family will receive friends and relatives Thursday, April 17, 2025, from 10:00am to 11:00am with Services to follow at Rose Hill Funeral Home 580 Elm St.
