On every game day thisseason, THN Fantasy will highlight players and goalies for fantasy managersto stream or roster for the rest of the season. The recommended players andgoalies are rostered in less than 50 percent of Yahoo leagues and can beselected in standard fantasy leagues or for daily fantasy games.Cam Fowler, STL vs.
PIT (16% rostered)The frustration(difficulty?) with figuring out the Blues defenseman is that none of themreally stand out and it’s tough to say who will go on a scoring binge. Lately,it’s been Fowler with five points in four games and been more productive thanJustin Faulk. This is a good matchup where the Blues should have no troublescoring goals.
Darren Raddysh, TB atOTT (11% rostered)Raddysh draws in andout of the lineup depending on what the Lightning do, but if they dress 11forwards, Raddysh will play. It’s actually impressive that with limitedminutes, Raddysh can put up points; he’s notched four assists in his past fivegames despite playing over 16 minutes just once. In fantasy, however, it onlymatters that he’s being used in offensive situations, which is a good thing.
Hetends to be a high-risk, high-reward play due to his limited role. Dante Fabbro, CBJ vs.COL (2% rostered)Perhaps the Jacketscan take advantage of a potentially tired Avs team that’s playing the secondgame of a back-to-back.
Their offense has come alive again recently and Fabbrohas scored six points in his past three games. It helps that he plays on thefirst pair with Zach Werenski. JackThompson, SJ vs.
EDM (0% rostered)Tough matchupbecause the Oilers will likely dominate puck possession, and not because theywill be tough to score on with key players missing and backup Calvin Pickard innet. With the Sharks defense decimated by injuries, look for Thompson topotentially quarterback PP2 if Shakir Mukhamadullin is unavailable following aninjury in their previous game. Thompson managed to notch an assist despite playingjust 15:40; he should get more minutes in his second game since getting calledup.
