Shedeur Sanders silenced his critics once more and left his rivals speechless with a stunning Hail Mary against Baylor. With Sanders under centre, Colorado are never down and out as he provides clutch play after clutch play - and this time earned his team a 38-31 over-time win. The buzzer-beater against Baylor sent fans, pundits, and teammates wild - even if they still had to win it in the extra period.
Going into the dying seconds of the fourth quarter, Colorado were down 31-24 and Sanders needed to find some magic. And Sanders almost provided it on a 2nd and 10 with 12 seconds on the clock. He launched the ball downfield to Will Sheppard but somehow the wide receiver allowed the ball to bounce out of his grasp with a walk-in touchdown seemingly a certainty.
Sanders though, would not be deterred and on the next player he launched a 44-yard dine to LaJohntay Wester. As Wester, and the rest of the Buffaloes, jumped up to get ready for the extra point, which levelled the game, the Fox broadcast cut to a Baylor player. No.

"Hey, all I know is that I would take him first overall in the draft if I didn't take his teammate Travis Hunter who just saved the game with a dislodging tackle on the one-yard line after Shedeur came up with two late clutch touchdown passes. "This kid Shedeur Sanders is as mentally and physically clutch tough as you will find. "He can move, not like his daddy - but he can move, he can escape. He's still under pressure way too much.

"So I told him: ‘I got you,’ and I kept my word. I knew I had to tackle. I knew they were coming at me.
They don’t think I could tackle, so I had to show them.”.
