The Cincinnati Bengals , historically known for operating on a tighter budget under owner Mike Brown , are now making a significant investment in their facilities. Mike Brown, who succeeded his father Paul Brown —founder and coach of the team from 1967 to 1975—has often faced criticism for his perceived reluctance to spend on players, the facilities, and the stadium. However, recent developments indicate a shift in this approach.

Hamilton County Commissioners recently unveiled a master plan proposal for a $1.3 billion renovation of Paycor Stadium . Discussions about the proposal began on Tuesday, with the current lease set to expire in 2026.
