ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — The NFL fined Buffalo Bills safety Taylor Rapp on Saturday.
The fine for taunting, which will cost Rapp $11,255, came during last Sunday's 30-27 home win against the Miami Dolphins. The play for which Rapp was fined came just 41 seconds into the third quarter, after he pushed Miami running back Raheem Mostert out of bounds following a 15-yard completion resulted in a a first down. Rapp was not flagged on that play.

That led to an 11-play, 64-yard drive capped by a touchdown that put the Bills ahead. Mostert drew a fine himself, for unnecessary roughness, costing him $18,830 on a play where he used his helmet to make contact with Rapp.
Other Dolphins fined include former Buffalo safety Jordan Poyer ($11,193) for his hit on rookie wide receiver Keon Coleman, who was considered a defenseless player, and Cam Smith ($8,874) for a horse-collar tackle. The NFL announces player fines every Saturday afternoon during the season. For Week 9, there were 24 plays resulting in fines for on-field discipline during 2,464 total plays.
