In Week 2 this season, Tagovailoa was concussed in Miami's 31-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills . On Monday night, the Alabama product suited up for his third game back as the Dolphins took on the LA Rams .
In the first half of the game, Tagovailoa ducked down to stop LA's Christian Rozeboom. To secure the tackle, Tagovailoa appeared to take a knee to his head, which sparked an outrage on social media. 'Another concussion this ain't never going to end with Tua with these concussions it's painful,' one user wrote.

In December that year, Tagovailoa suffered a grade 3 concussion that sidelined him for the rest of the season. Many urged Tagovailoa to retire from football after his injury earlier this season.
However, the fifth overall pick in 2020 came back in a loss to Arizona on Oct. 27. The quarterback also geared up for another loss to Buffalo on Nov.
